Each pot is carved from genuine river stones gathered from fast-flowing streams in the Tulungagung region of Central Java. Local artisans cut, shape and finish every piece by hand, preserving the stone’s natural character so no two pots are ever identical. The result is a blend of raw material and traditional craftsmanship. Some believe these vessels help “ground” gemstones or crystal jewellery placed inside, which inspired the name Grounding Pots.
