How to use
1. Find a Quiet Space
Choose a calm environment to fully experience the bowl’s sound and vibration.
2. Hold the Bowl
Place the bowl on the palm of your non-dominant hand. For larger bowls, rest it on a cushion or a flat surface for stability.
3. Striking the Bowl
Gently strike the outer rim with the padded end of the mallet to produce a rich, resonant tone. Let the sound fade naturally.
4. Making It Sing
Hold the mallet like a pencil, with a firm grip.
Gently press the mallet against the outer rim.
Move it in a slow, steady circular motion around the edge of the bowl.
As the friction builds, the bowl will begin to “sing” with a continuous tone.
5. Focus and Breathe
Use the sound as a focus point for meditation, relaxation, or mindfulness. Let the vibration guide your breathing and awareness.
