How to use Prepare your space – Place the smudge stick in a fireproof bowl, ceramic dish, or heat-resistant holder to catch falling ash. Keep away from flammable items. Light with care – Hold the tip of the smudge stick to a flame until it catches, then gently blow out the flame so the stick smoulders and produces fragrant smoke. Purify and enjoy – Move the smouldering stick slowly around your space, or let it rest in the holder. Use in a well-ventilated area to allow the smoke to circulate freely. Stay attentive – Never leave a burning smudge stick unattended. Keep away from children and pets. Extinguish safely – When finished, press the burning end firmly into sand, soil, or a fireproof container until the ember is completely out. Allow ash to cool before disposal.
